I'm off to the Netherlands to attend a wedding. I'm excited for my cousin and see family and be part of the celebration as she enters married life, but I'm more excited about what happens after - when I go off travelling on my own.
I haven't really done any real solo travelling, because I always manage to find someone whom to travel with - and end up having loads of fun. My last trip to Europe was in 2008, and I am excited to back!
I am meeting up with a friend who's currently enrolled in a summer school in Oxford, and another one from Santander. Prague has always been a dream destination - and even from the movies I know it is a sight to behold!
Madrid, well, I consider a second home, having lived there a year. This is my second time to return. One would think I would have chosen other cities I haven't yet been to, but Madrid always draws me back to its arms.
Anyway, I'm off to start a new work week before I go. I just can't wait!
